Under Contract

Today we had the first showing of our house! I took the kids to McDonald's and then I ran to the bank and Blockbuster. While I was picking out a movie, our realtor called and told me that we had an offer! They offered full price, but they want us to pay 4,000 dollars of the closing costs. I had to call Jared and we agreed to accept the offer. So tonight we signed the papers and its pretty much official now! They found out that we are eager to close on the house soon and so they are pushing for the loan to go through as soon as possible. They want to close on the house by Jan 1, but they aren't sure the loan company can process their loan that fast. The official deadline is Jan 15, so for sure we will have our house totally sold by then. Now if only Jared's paperwork would go through with the Navy in Virginia...
