Sanding the stairs

This was a while ago, but I'm just now loading the pictures. Here's the before picture.

Becca was pretty upset about the mess the dust was making in the house, and she was trying to clean it by wiping it with one finger. It was so cute. Every time I would sand some more it would just cover everything with a new layer of dust. I'm still cleaning dust off of stuff and its been like 3 weeks. The project still isn't done because we decided to do the kitchen cabinets too and we want to do all the rest of the sanding at once. We'll be getting a better sander too, since the one I was using was for light work not the heavy job I was doing. That made it 10 times harder.
